MCC is a day secondary school located in the Mucheke high density suburb of
Masvingo city. It derives most of its learners from the local high-density
residential areas such as Mucheke, Rujeko, Runyararo West, Majange and
Victoria Range.

Operational & holding Christian values since 1981
MCC was established as a secondary school in 1981 by the Churches of Christ (Mashoko mission) which has now rebranded to Hippo Valley Christian Mission (HVCM), that is, the current responsible authority for the school. Originally, this institution was opened as a Bible college. The focus for the Bible College was to train preachers for Churches of Christ/Christian Churches. These preachers were meant to serve in Zimbabwe and in the region, that is, Central Africa, as a whole. For this reason, the college was named Central Africa Christian College.

At Masvingo Christian College, we refuse to be part of the competition in which schools and school authorities sought to create names of school children admitted, rather than creating names out of enrolling at Masvingo Christian College.
